AMMAN - Under the patronage of Senate president Faisal Al Faiez, “Al Rai” Center for Studies hosted a promulgation ceremony of "Talal Abu Ghazaleh’s book...From Suffering to Universality”, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Talal Abu Ghazaleh.
The event was attended by Mr. Ramadan Al Rawashdeh, President of the Jordanian Press Corporation “Al Rai”, President of “Al Rai” for Studies, Dr. Khaled Al Shaqran, the book author, Mr. Jafar Al Aqili and a number of current and former officials, writers, academics and media persons.
During the event, Al Faiez stressed the importance of the book which narrates the autobiography of Talal Abu Ghazaleh’s life course, full of challenges, success and generosity, adding that Abu Ghazaleh represents a significant character who has lived through the joys and miseries of our Arab Nation, especially Palestine’s catastrophe, by which he has been greatly affected. Through determination and challenge, he managed to become a world famous icon that has had a remarkable impact on a number of sectors through his group TAG- Org.
Al Faiez continued: “We, as we talk about Talal Abu Ghazaleh, we speak about a self-built man who emerged from suffering with all its details, indicating that Talal Abu Ghazaleh is a man who has never lived with frustration of defeatism; he managed to cross a difficult road with determination, managed to make achievements in every phase of his life.”
He made it clear that this book illustrates a genuine success story based on true facts, as Talal Abu Ghazaleh gained strength from weakness, success from nil, and believed that success is the fruit of struggle and assiduous work.
Al Faiez said: “Unfortunately, our Arab Nation is passing through weakness and division. Under such difficult conditions, there is a need for inspirational persons like Talal Abu Ghazaleh, to revive hope for the youth and stimulate them to believe that willingness and strength can make miracles.”
Dr. Talal Abu Ghazaleh noted that his life course can be summarized in two words: “suffering grace”, recalling his experience working at a music shop, which motivated him to study music after he became fond of it.
Abu Gazaleh talked about the knowledge era, specifying that knowledge in the future will be for innovation, as “we move from the civilian to innovative state which will be run by innovation; all people in this state should be innovative”, stressing that the curricula for schools and universities should lead to innovation and motivation. "We teach university students to become educated and knowledgeable, and to be suitable for the labour market, however, there is no longer any such thing as the labour market or educated and knowledgeable students; but there are innovators”. He added: “We, in Jordan I am proud to say have started doing this; I am annually sponsoring innovative students and inventors of whom there are so many with wonderful inventions."
He also said: “The US can decide what it wants, but this will not change the fact that Jerusalem is ours, this will not change that Palestine is ours,
