MAAN - April 27, 2016 - The people of Maan celebrated the visits of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh which contribute in providing the city and its people with technical knowledge and required projects, at the Governorate’s Municipality building and Hussein University.
During the visit hosted by the Mayor of Maan, Professor Majed Sharairi, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh attended various events, including youth-related projects. He announced TAG-Org’s intention to establish several projects to serve the city, its visitors and people, notably, building a hotel as a “Maani” public shareholding company to serve the governorate’s businessmen and investment.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh confirmed that his love for Maan is what has led to his relentless efforts and endeavors to serve the Maani society. He indicated his interest in expanding work to the regional archiving center established lately in Maan and increasing the number of women employees with high qualifications.
He clarified that the city must work, through the investments of its people, as part of the “Hotel” project to serve the region and its visitors, especially private investors; pointing out that this investment should be a shareholding company from the people of the governorate themselves.
He further clarified that TAG-Org is soon to release its radio station specialized in economy and culture, under the name of “Maan from Amman Radio Station”, to commence its first-stage transmission in both governorates. This station will discuss the prominent issues of the city and express the opinions and ideas of youth, confirming that the priority in hiring is for qualified Maani citizens.
The Acting Governor of Maan, Professor Mamdouh Al Faqeer welcomed Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh and emphasized that this visit is a source of pride, confirming that when His Majesty King Abdullah II called for partnership, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh was the first to respond.
Professor Al Faqeer said: “Your efforts are appreciated especially in relation to supporting information technology, as well as official and non-official institutions, in Maan.”
Meanwhile, at Maan Municipality Al Sharairi praised the efforts of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh in serving Maan and its people, emphasizing Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh interest for continuous implementation and communication with the concerned entities in Maan and the promise of providing what is possible to the city and its people.
He further added, “Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh is a very well-known person and an international economic leader; his sense of belonging and love is what motivated him to address issues through support.”
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh visited Al Hussein University and met the President Dr. Ali Al Qaisi, the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Belal Abu Rakhia, and a group of academics and administrators with whom he discussed various cooperation means between TAG- Org and Al Hussein Bin Talal University.
