AMMAN - May 30, 2016 - Under the Patronage of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International University (TAGIUNI), Jubilee School, a major undertaking of King Hussein Foundation, held the 13th Arab Youth Competition Award Ceremony and ‘Jubitech 13’ Exhibition to honor and encourage student innovators in the field of Information and Communications Technology (ICT).

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stressed on the importance of humans to progress in the digital age, saying, “The 4th Industrial Revolution has arrived with transformative changes already witnessed in Artificial Intelligence, 3D printing, online education, and bio-informatics.”
He added, “Software development will disrupt most traditional industries in the next five to ten years where business will be conducted through the Internet and ‘experience’.”
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stated that “The digital world is shifting from an “Information Age” to that of an “Experience Age” – in which anything perceived or imagined by the mind is applicable in reality,” concluding his speech by quoting the famous painter Picasso, “‘Everything you can imagine is real’”.

Meanwhile, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh focused on Arab innovators saying, “There is great potential for Arab innovators to excel in the field of ICT as there is no clear vision of where the digital world might end. ICT and knowledge creation can contribute to a nation’s wealth and solve economic challenges.”
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stressed that TAGIUNI will continue to promote E-learning, as the future depends on smart education citing support of the first ‘smart classroom’ at Jubilee Schools.
