Abu-Ghazaleh Inaugurates "Serenity" Art Exhibition at Gallery 14

 

 

67 artworks are on show representing 13 well known Jordanian artists and upcoming young ones depicting their works under the title “Serenity.”

AMMAN------August 25, 2010-------- An art exhibition of the works of 13 Jordanian artists was inaugurated on Sunday evening 22 August 2010 by Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman and CEO of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization at Gallery 14.

67 artworks are on show representing 13 well known-Jordanian artists and upcoming young ones depicting their works under the title “Serenity.”

Interestingly, “serenity” can mean different things to different people, leaving many defensive to the title itself. 

Under the title "Serenity," the exhibition presented the deep understanding of the world of colors by artists: Mouhanna Durra, Ghada Dahdala, Mohammad Al Ameri, Omar Shahwan, Yousef Al Baddawi, Dodi Tabbaa, Omar Bilbeisi, Haya Abd Alhamid, Mohammad Abu Aziz and Hind Nasser.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, a well-known supporter of art and music expressed his admiration by the brilliantly colorful paintings and the subjects tackled by the artists.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh also toured Artisana, which is a part of The Arts Crafts Center which promotes and encourages Jordanians to modernize their work and to market it for them.

“Serenity”, the title of the group exhibition at Gallery 14 will run from Sunday August 22, 2010 to October 4, 2010 from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm except Fridays, and during Ramadan from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.
